Nymphoides sp. "Lymnocharus" / SulawesiPlant

Hallo,

Gestern habe ich an zwei Pflanzen neue Blätter entdeckt.

An der hinteren Pflanze in der Mitte. An diesem Trieb fehlt das "Hütchen" evtl. werden das ja die Schwimmblätter.
Vorne links ist übrigens der einzige Ableger.

Ich hatte das Glück noch ein paar dieser Pflanzen zu ergattern. Sie sind am Samstag angekommen. Frisch aus Indonesien. Diese Spitzen Blätter sind dort auch an einigen zu sehen. Ich habe mehrere Pflanzen bekommen. Die Pflanzen sind zwischen einem und fünf Zentimeter groß. Die Größe meiner alten Pflanzen ist also nicht so ungewöhnlich.

Ich habe auch von den Eriocaulon Cinereum (also die von der Firma mit dem aristokratischen Namen) bekommen. Dort kamen sehr unterschiedliche Pflanzen. Die in Gruppen wuchsen. Ich glaube Heiko (sumpfheini) nannte die mal Tuff. darin wuchsen zum Teil auch noch ein paar Sulawesiplant.

Auf dem Foto schlecht zu sehen aber die Wurzeln sind noch miteinander verhäddert. Höhe beider Pflanzen ein Zentimeter.

nachdem die Trompetenseekanne in Rolands Maliliseen-Foto-Thread Thema war, schreibe ich hier auch mal wieder was.
Vielleicht ist es ein bisschen unvorsichtig, aber ich gehe mal davon aus, dass es sich um die gleiche Pflanze handelt, die in den Pflanzenlisten wie hier: http://www.wetlands.or.id/wdb/siteinfo.php?SITE_COD=SUL16 N. parvifolia genannt wird. Ich werde sie wohl in die Datenbank mit der Bezeichnung Nymphoides parvifolia "Sulawesi" eintragen.

Was ich vorläufig über die Art rausgefunden habe: sie wurde von Grisebach als Limnanthemum parvifolium beschrieben und von Kuntze zu Nymphoides umkombiniert. => Nymphoides parvifolia (Grisebach) Kuntze 1891

Wie man sieht, eine sehr kleine Pflanze, scheint so ungefähr zu der aus Sulawesi zu passen, aber die Blütenstängel sind viel kürzer (umweltabhängig?).

I grow N. sp. 'Lymnocharus' from any years. I would like do a important contribution for identification this rare specie. Below less Kelvin (about 3000K) I got the blooming. For moment these images could be unique on the world.

Now, we are sure that plants is a specie of Nymphoides Genus.

that's great! Congrats for flowering the plant, and thank you for proving that it belongs to Nymphoides! :grow: :thumbs:
I think that the Sulawesiplant could be the Nymphoides parviflora that's listed on the Wetlands International Indonesia site here: http://www.wetlands.or.id/wdb/siteinfo.php?SITE_COD=SUL16
but it would be good to contact an expert for Nymphoides (don't know one at the moment).
If it belongs to Nymphoides parviflora, that species is widespread in tropical Asia and Australia, but curiously apparently not yet imported as aquarium plant from those areas, except the Malili lakes.

how long did it last, until the flower began to grow after the leave did reach the surface of water?
I have this species since years; most times no "swimming-leaves" are build, but I had this sometimes too! Also right now.
But when I had it, there was no flowering but a new small plant was growing there.
Actually it grows under 2 x 11W Dennerle-Lighter (7 hours per day, 54 L.) in soft water with CO2 and all ferts (not to much) in BorneoWild-Soil. And it grows slowly (I think according to the low fertilisation-level).

I'm very happy to hear you
This is a great notice, that little and rare plant now has a more correct name. I have great gratification.

I think that N. parviflora is a medium-great specie with large leaves (I don't find good images).
Plant produces a long peduncle (about 20cm) with terminal little leaf. When it did reach surface of water, produces flower in about a week and the blooming. The blooming has less life, 2-3 hours about, then dies.

Matz, I think it will better to use lamp with very low Kelvin, about 3-4000K. Maybe it stimulates the blooming together less temp (about 22C).
N. sp. 'Lymnocharus' gets the nutrients from root principally, no to leaves. You needed a good and organic substrate (I use ADA Amazonia and new Tropica Soil).

Hello Massimo,

I mean, it's only possible that it belongs to N. parviflora! No positive ID! I think it's necessary to ask a Nymphoides expert.
If it really belongs to parviflora, it would be interesting to compare it with other N. parviflora populations, e.g. from Australia or other parts of Asia (not yet imported).

when looking "old" Aqua-pictures, I found this:



So I've had this plant flowering too :grow: , but I forgot it completely :irre: :shock: .
The light above was a Aqualight F-600 - 4x24Watt/ 54L ps: ; 3x 865er + 1x 840er, 7 hours/day); ADA Amazonia II, CO2 around 30mg/l, much ferts. KH ~3-4, GH ~8., Temp. around 23-24°C.
It happened in this tank:



The picture here was taken about 2 months earlier than the "flowering picture".
I'm not shure: Heiko, didn't I send it to you (May 2013, the "flowering picture")?

ich muss diesen Fred mal aus der Versenkung holen, um mal nachzufragen, ob noch jemand diese Pflanze pflegt?
Ich hatte die damals durchaus an einige Leute weitergegeben, weiß aber nicht mehr an wen alles.
Ich selbst habe die schon länger nicht mehr, würde sie aber gerne mal wieder pflegen.
