Hi Massimo :D ,
thanks for observing and joining in to Flowgrow, it's a pleasure to have you here :top: !
I'm apollogising for that mistake in the name, sorry (now I know, why I didn't find you and your site on google :bonk: ).
I'm looking forward very interessted to the informations you can give about this plant, because I too didn't find anything into the www about this type (and I mean: really nothing  , not even a similar description in older books and journals).
By the way: it grows very well (and fast!).
I wish you a nice time,
sorry again,
with best regards,
:bier:

Hello Massimo,

welcome to Flowgrow :)
Thank You for the informations! So this plant has apparently very narrow leaves, 2 mm or so? How long?
Was the original trade name Eriocaulon sp. "Japan"?
For an ID surely it would be necessary to flower the plant by emersed culture. Who knows if it is an Eriocaulon at all.

Best regards,
Heiko

Hi Massimo :-D,
Tutti said:
"Not only posting when good news,
all his Eriocaulon cinereum had faded away by flowering to death :( ."
I have a similar problem on your site: everything is in italian and it's hard to understand (even after translating by Babelfish from italian to english  ) but I do my best and it works I think.
Have a nice time,
thanks for your interessting article and your good work :top: .
With best regards,

Hi Heiko,
thanks for research, did you see my article?
well, i think that plant is same species, name is incorrect, E. setaceum is another plants.

the plant's structure is different to generic Eriocaulon sp., no Rosette but rizome with "equitant" leaves, very inusual for this genus.

@Matz
many thanks for tranlsation :):) German is very hard language
It's very difficult search good translator man in Italy, i have a friend but he is has many many work (he is agronomist doctor).
I hope that article will be translate soon.

Rgds,

Hallo Ihr :-D,

Bin mal gespannt.
Ich wünsche noch einen schönen Tag,
bis bald,
:bier:

english version:
Hello all :D ,
on the attached picture you can (hopefully  ) see that the new E.sp. "Japan Needle Leaf" had become about 6 new leaves (since I received it from Massimo, 17.02.11).
The new ones look a bit "brighter"-green than the old ones.
If growing goes on like this I wouldn't call it slow/middlefast  ?!
Have a nice time,
regards,
:bier:

Hallo,

@Tutti.
