Description:

Ottelia alismoides is a large rosulate aquatic plant native to the Asian, African and Australian tropics and subtropics, where it grows in different types of standing or flowing waterbodies. It has also been introduced into North and South America and even has been found in the rice paddies in Northern Italy.
