Description: 

Several narrow-leaved species or varieties of the genus Oldenlandia have become popular as aquarium plants during the last few years. They are probably imported from the Asian tropics and belong to the Rubiaceae family (aka coffee family) like e.g. oval-leaved Hedyotis salzmannii from South America, which is also often counted among the genus Oldenlandia.
