Lindernia grandiflora is endemic to Florida. The emersed form of this marsh plant has a creeping habit and beautiful flowers. In the USA it has been available in trade as ornamental house or garden plant. One of the cultivars of this species is known under the name 'Blue White'.
Only recently, hobbyists in the USA discovered that it can also be cultivated submersed in aquaria.
Outside of the USA, L. grandiflora is not known as aquarium plant yet. In Europe it apparently isn't even available in the ornamental plant trade.
