Description:

Cryptocoryne crispatula var. tonkinensis comes from Vietnam and southeastern China (Guangxi). It is distinct from an extremely narrow-leaved plant from eastern Thailand that was long known as "C. tonkinensis", now described as a new variety (Cryptocoryne crispatula var. kubotae).
