Description:

Aponogeton 'Lanka' is a fast-growing cultivar bred by Hans Barth sen. (Dessau, Germany) by crossbreeding a narrow-leaved reddish brown form of A. crispus with A. jacobsenii. It has been available in trade since around 2002. The variety name refers to the origins of both parent species, namely Sri Lanka.
