Hello everybody!
this is native american plant and it is not widespread in Europe yet.
it is a rare natural hybrid of Ludwigia brevipes and L. palustris .
This plant is adaptable to different values ??of water, different amounts of light e Co2 but it is possible to have the typical orange color with lots of light (1 w/l of T5 lamps) and micro elements.
I'd like to know who grows this species.

Hi Lino,
thank You for sharing! It seems that this Ludwigia hybrid, at least its name, is virtually unknown in the hobby in Europe.
There are other narrow-leaved hybrids as L. repens x arcuata and arcuata x repens. It would be interesting to cultivate them together with x lacustris for comparison.
In older aquarium literature there's a narrow-leaved Ludwigia repens form (?), similar to these hybrids.

Gruß
Heiko

Hallo,

ich pflege diese Pflanze schon ne zeitlang. Sie sieht toll aus, und scheint auch recht einfach zu pflegen sein.
