You will have excellent results with "a" manual removal and/or "b" with a direct dose of (for instance) 5ml onto the algue (pipet) if you know what i mean. Easycarbo can be dosed up to 4 times the recommended dosage btw, just like Excel.

I have installed this one instead of an Aquamedic 1000. The main reason for me was beacuse the Aquamedic has a feeding tube on top, and outflow on the bottom. This means a lot of 'curves' in your hose which affect flow a lot. After installing the reactor 1000, the flow on my Eheim 2080...
