Announcement of Special Opening of Nature Aquarium Gallery
~Wishing recovery from East Japan Big Earthquake~
Aqua Design Amano open the Nature Aquarium Gallery 7 days a week to the public from March 23 until further notice, wishing the early recovery from the East Japan big earthquake!
We also experienced a big quake here in Niigata, but our gallery did not have any damage, and all the planted aquarium layout remains intact. In the past, our gallery also experienced two major earthquakes hit Niigata in 2004 and 2007, but all the aquarium survived without damages, and this proves the aquarium setting has much more quake resistance than normally thought. We believe Nature Aquarium provides people the opportunity appreciating a beautiful waterscape, and has a power of healing the people’s mind. Many people feel stress from the earthquake. We wish the Nature Aquarium serves as a place of healing people’s mind, and decided this special opening of our gallery.
After the quake, we expect it is difficult many people take time and visit our gallery. But we would like to offer an opportunity people see our gallery and regain vitality toward recovery from this destructive earthquake and tsunami. We open even weekdays for maximizing the chance of visit.
Please be noted we limit the opening hour from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and turn off the ceiling room light of the gallery for contributing electricity saving. (Aquarium lighting is turned on.) Please also understand our staffs may make normal aquarium maintenance during the weekdays.
We place a donation box in our gallery, and ask for donation for sufferers of earthquake. Your kind cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Hm.
